MTA’s fix for overcrowded subways

Imagine if all the subways have no more seats. Where will the bums sleep?

On a short ride like the Shuttle I can see some sense in this. Beyond that, however, no.
Just no.

I want a refund on all my city taxes if they rip out the seats on the F line.

Absolutely NOT! If I can't get a seat on the train to read and unwind to and from work I will literally just sit on the dirty ass floor of the train and put down a giant napkin under my butt. People want to complain about manspreading!? well wait until there's NO SEATS left! There will be TONS of 'splainin' to do then!!!!!!!!

I am

100%

over this city

17 years living here proper, and the first 23 right outside of it in Hudson County. I would move back to Jersey, but the last place I now want to continue working is here in NYC. Let the scrubs and the rich d-cks have it all. It's blandville anyway

I'm going to start my OWN SHOWTIME VERY soon if this city keeps up with its ridiculous shenanigans of making our lives more miserable. Any ideas? I'm not that limber

This seems to discriminate against disabled people who can't stand up for long periods.

Hey genius,

Where the will the people sit? You know people who have hour and a half commutes everyday working 10 hour shifts?

You clearly must not work, ride the subway, or have ever commuted before

But some of us who don't live with a silver spoon don't think this funny

TOTALLY. It also discriminates against people who don't want to stand the **** up nestled in someone's armpit or menses aroma-filled crotch for an hour!

Soon we will be like those trains in India where there's a gazillion people riding on the outside of the train, on top of the train, and some underneath.
