Between 120th & 121st street. It's paired with another new development on the block. Now this I might consider renting in. Lottery is on right now. Good look to those who applied
the new sweet spot is 60% meaning 30-40K a year. Us in the 80% ami bracket are screwed once again... It sucks cuz there were SO many lottos going up for us in the 80%-100% (btw that doesnt mean we make a lot, it just means we make less than 20% of the area medium income!) This whole lottery system is getting hairy and dirty and just as I suspected those of us struggling the hardest (i.e. making middle income wages with zero other support systems yet can't afford market rate... aka luxury level rents) are once again SCREWED. But that's okay, they just upped our city taxes a few weeks ago! Take a look at your paycheck withholdings.... It's funny, you get the a certain point where you DO realize that you're not wanted around anymore. I wish it was easy to pick up and leave, but it's not for the majority of us so we continue to work and pay ever increasing taxes to subsidize the super rich and the scrubs. How is this fair again!?
Also that building is ugly as sin. (although I would love to live in a new unit inside of it!) but still, it's hideous. And those balconies won't be able to accommodate the obesity that will eventually move in anyway so what's the point of even having them!?!?!?

that's my issue with these lotteries
i make 55k
doesn't mean i make a lot
the max rent i can afford is 1350 and i would not have any social life
but these lotteries are always between 10k to 30k
if you see anything 50 and up is always like 10 apartments or less
makes no god damn sense.
Too expensive for what it is. Studios start at $2,150. Cannot fathom paying that in that area. Have people standing outside smoking or whatever just across the street, and that supermarket is insanely overpriced and rundown. Organic milk is close to $6.00.

Yep, it looks like a prison block.
