The train operator test given in June 2009 , out of 30,000 people who took the test, about 11,000 passed. They began calling off that list November 2012 and just stopped calling earlier this year and they made it up to the low 9000's. So don't get too discouraged about the score , it might take a long time but there's a possibility of getting called a few years down the line

Did everyone get their results through the mail? I took the test on 5/13/17 in the morning session in Brooklyn, but I never got the results. I saw the answer key was posted, but I don't know why I didn't get my results as of today, August 7th. I emailed them, but I don't know what else to do.

I don't think you will receive your score in mail yet. There's proposed answer key on the website, and you can match your answer key if you wrote it down. If not, then you just have to keep waiting until the score arrive in the mail.

The proposed answer key is available online and I believe you will get your official score in the mail sometime in the future when an official list has been established. I am just going off what they have done with other civil service exams that I have taken.

Default Other than Train Operator Exam 7604

Just joined this group with this as my First Posting.
I took the last PM session of Train Operator Exam #7604 of a two week long of AM/PM testing sessions. Reading from experienced people, it seems that we should just sleep on our scores no matter how we did, as long as we scored above 70. Ask why? because it will be couple of years before we get the final score, land on the eligible list (see link #1) and land on an actual Train Operator job. My tentative score is 91.66% since I chose 5 wrong answers out of the total 60. I did not stop at this exam, but proceeded to apply for other jobs in MTA (see link #2) as well as NYC (see link #3). The MTA called me for an interview on October 31 for the Project Management Specialist (Level 1 -3). The interview went well with a panel of three well experienced ladies. If any of you know how long before they tell me of my fate, please feel free to post here, Thank you. And Good Luck to All of you no matter where you go. Thank you once again for reading me.
