Yeah log numbers do matter - especially when the file is with HPD.

Anyway, I received calls for four lotteries - these are the time spans (I also don't have any preference for any of them):

9306 Shore - at Far Rockaway log # 9xxx (called right away - within six months)

Steinway Estates - log 27xxx (called about a year later) - [won the one bedroom lease for this one, turned it down]

Hunters Point South - log 2xxx (called right away - within six months)

and KB25 - log 2xx (called about a year later)

I know it sounds bad, but I am too stressed for anymore of the housing drama. Meaning stress with HR, IRS, credit crap, interviews, looking for paperwork, but worst of all, waiting for a response. I think the last one is the worst thing.

Ah I see. Why did you turn Steinway estates down? My credit isn't looking too good now so I'm trying to bring it up.

Because I re-did the commute from Astoria to my place of work at least 3 times, and all three times it was a complete nightmare. I couldn't justify a rent increase of about $600 from my current place and an hour longer commute. (Although the apartments they showed me were both very nice).

I wish I was there! That was the lottery of my dreams but I was too slow with the paperwork (my HR department). So my application was rejected. (Worst day of my life).

Iím currently at my same rent stabilized apartment I was in since I was a kid.

By the way, I forgot to add that I was also called for StuyTown Houses but dropped out of the process because that rent was too steep although the apartments are large and nice.

That's a very nice log number... you definitely have high chance.. Even though it will be months before you hear, keep your hopes up.
