Hey everyone,

Thanks in advance for any advice. I noticed this forum when I started researching some of the buildings that I wanted to apply to. I recently went in for an interview for an apt. Due to finances I have been renting a room from a friend of the family who is the owner of the apartment and so I do not have a lease. But I was given a letter from the owner stating this is where I live and how much I pay and receipts. At the interview I was told I needed the info for the company that manages the condo but the owner is not comfortable giving that info. Not sure why but I assuming it may cause a problem in some way. Just wondering what my chances are if the letter and receipts are all I have and if I can suggest something else.

Again, thanks for any help.

Thanks... only thing is it a condo and he's the owner. He doesnt want to give his management info. If it were a lease I think it would have been okay.
