Am only talking about Spanish speaking countries. The Philippines has a different history. There's some Spanish in the language, but the presence isn't as strong.

It shouldn't be a problem for Americans to wrapped themselves in our national flag and have a parade in each of those countries.

Bad enough how they do things in Brighton Beach and Sheepshead Bay. New home is now in America. Let's embrace it a little. If things were so great there, wouldn't have left in the first place.
Don't all immigrants tend to speak in their native language when possible? (with others from their home country)

Don't Latino immigrants speak Spanish a lot?

Don't Chinese immigrants speak Chinese a lot?

What exactly is your problem with the Russians speaking Russian?

Problem is they move to predominantly English-speaking areas and then assert their Russian culture, refusing to assimilate. If they were living in Brighton Beach, could understand, but don't see the point of leaving an ethnic area to move to one that is completely the opposite to then assert your identity.

I'm not a huge fan of Russian culture, personally, but I don't see why they're not allowed to leave Brighton Beach if they want to live in a more suburban atmosphere (like Staten Island, or NJ) and still speak Russian, eat Russian food, and "assert their identity."
Every other culture does it, why can't they?

Every other culture isn't in your face with it. Wanna speak Russian? Fine. Don't have to hell in people's ears or whatever. One thing to have your culture. Another to be rude.

Better yet, why do you live in a highly diverse and cosmopolitan city and then get irritated that you encounter people of different cultures?

Are you a transplant?
That's how New York celebrate it's diversity! Not only that but parades in general are a beautiful New York thing. There's other parades besides national parades. Veterans, gay, Halloween etc.

If it makes some people happy why not. Noise? Really? Is New York!

You feel that Russians yell more than other foreign/immigrant communities? Is that what you're saying?

It's funny people brag about the melting pot that occurs in this city. The different cultures, food, religions, traditions, etc but then go on to hate the very same thing. lol
