The building is offering one month free on a year's lease and even accepting partial year leases, so people aren't exactly flocking in.

Didn't this lottery just close? How would they be at this point of desperation before people have even been called? They JUST posted the log numbers last week.

My lottery building in the BX had a very difficult time filling units for the higher income bracket, but they never resorted to offering partial leases or one month free.

Perhaps because the building's profit margin does not come from the affordables but rather from the 80% market rate apartments.

I guess... it would be nice to actually have the article and/or advertisement to back that claim up.

Hey Mizzyme, try checking in with the folks on this thread:

530 Exterior Street is a new apartment development

If it's Wavecrest that's managing the process you may want to contact wavecrest and see if they can direct you. Just google their website and a telephone number should be listed

Thanks for the response. I am on that forum as well, but no one seems to anything on their either. But i got an email this morning. The person emailing me had said that i would need to wait until they got up to my log number and that she would send me a 5 days notice.
I wonder what the 5 day notice is for?
