After that, I've heard nothing. I guess I'm too scared to call and see where I stand in regards to my application and am on pins and needles praying that I'm approved. It is only me signing up for a studio, but the interviewer said I qualified for a one bedroom and wrote that down. After have read all of the posts here, does anyone know for sure if I call their office I could find out where I stand?
You might be able to find something out. I wouldn't leave it to them to call you honestly. You have to be on them

Update 01/18/17. I made a call to the office to see where I stood in regards to my application. I was told the person I needed to speak with was not in the office today. 😑. There was something the person said that made me more scared and worried. He asked if I had been call, my stomach sank and I asked real quick were they calling people? He then said he would try to find something out and call me back. Hopeful01, have you heard anything? I need to calm down a bit.

I honestly wont hear anything back until one piece of paper from my job is in. My file is 99% done. Idek if I'll be approved to be honest. It sounds like they want want to send you to the city. They usually call when you've been approved and want you to come into sign papers so you can go to the city

You'll be fine Hopeful01, please don't lose hope now. Did you sign a boatload of papers and not date them? There were so many, some in regards to Taxes, some for release of information and some for HPD? I was under the impression that all I had to do was wait on the email from them, as I was told that would be how they contacted me. I didn't know about getting a phone call. Thanks for the update.

I've only had my first interview since 10/24. Contact since then has been through phone or email. HPD is the city, you've been approved by management/compliance so the next step is approval from the city which is pretty much guaranteed.

Your first? May I ask you what did you do on the first interview? Because I thought everyone's interview was like mines. The last contact I had with them was via email informing me they received my info and would continue the process. That was December 13. I haven't heard anything since.

All I did was turn paperwork in and then sign a lot of stuff I believe they were dated too. They just kept asking me for more paperwork via email

I called the office starting around 10 this morning until mow 4:38 and no one answered the phone. I'm still in limbo until I speak with someone. Hopefully, they'll be in Monday.

Latest update, so I placed the call this morning and spoke with a young lady in regards to where I stood in the process of my application. I was Informed that my application was still in process waiting to go to the city, but I needed to send over documents that had expired. Once they receive my updated papers it will be submitted to the City for final approval and this would take 5-7 business days.

If and/or once the City approves it, they will notify the person to come in and view the apartment because the city tells them which unit they’re approved/eligible for.

As of right now, they’re not able to contact anyone to come in because they are still waiting on the Department of Buildings to inspect and approve it to receive The Certificate of Occupancy. No one is allowed in the building to view their apartment and sign a lease because of that hold up.

Hopeful01, please feel free to add more to this to help us better understand the process.
