Hey guys, I just received an email asking for more documents (ones that were provided already btw) but I do have a concern. I was not able to turn in tax returns (misplaced) from 2016 but we requested the transcripts from the IRS and gave them that. Anybody know why that isn't good enough?
Hi, I thought those transcripts from IRS works. I sent mine in, along with my w2 and pay stubs for income pre-qualification. They didn't say that one was unacceptable.
Hope they don't give us a hard time, I mean its pretty much the same thing.

Yeah I tried to obtain my originals before but I had a hard time doing so which led me to request transcripts. It's okay though, they told me to just write a notarized letter stating why I can't provide the originals. At least I hope they're okay with it

Ok that's good. The notarized letter, and your 1040Ez/ IT-201 should definitely work. Thank you so much for sharing, I will have to get a letter also. I'm excited and somewhat nervous at the same time lol. My interview is next week.
