Maybe the old list went up to 750, but not everyone on the old list wanted or qualified for an apartment (just like they won't from the new list). Of the 750 people first notified, not all sent back an application with $200. So if you remain on the list, you won't receive a new list number, but your place on the list moves up and the actual number of people they contact will be less than 750.
That could be plausible too! But I've called on two occasions weeks apart and was given the same info that they're basically done and are doing the veterans for the new list.
So, your mileage may vary but I think your theory could be true!
Hopefully not many people put in their deposits for the studio because this is the best ML in the program, period.
Oh, I think they're done (or almost done) with the old studio list too. I also remember reading on one of these forums that only 150 people sent in their deposits for the York Hill 1-bedrooms in 2016. I think it was WaitingforChelsea who wrote it, but I can't seem to find the post now.
Spoke to Property Mgr, Cathy, yesterday. She said new studio list will be started soon with veterans naturally going to top of waitlist. I tried to find out how many people who were selected in the lottery actually submitted an application with the $200 fee to no avail. She said she does not know that number.

Yeah, I got the same info. Looks like we're starting OUR list soon, guys!
I was told by the agent, in Aug, that old list goes to 600 and they were done with it.
After that, several Vets would be getting priority placement and put on the front of the new list of 750.
My number is in the mid-teens, and I was told to estimate approximately 4 more years before I’m in.
Hope this helps?
I honestly don't think it will take that long for two reasons.
1) Waiting4Chelsea2 apparently was someone who lived in the building or knew people who did. She knew before the studio list was to open, and told us. She said the list will be cycled through in 8 years.
2) I did some calculations since I started watching Mitchell Lama Connect like a hawk, and it seems that they go through 70-90 spots on the log number list every year. 750/80 is about 9 years, so the math is not so far off from what was speculated.
i tried to get an update from TRS months ago and finally they told me they are not managing this building anymore. They said Metro Mgmt was. They are actually listed on the housing connect site. I called them and they said York Hill is managing their own building now. Kathy is the manager over there. When I contacted her she said they are just going to start now with the 2016 list for the one bedroom. Of course veterans first choice. I have never received anything in the mail about managing agents changing did anyone? Now I wonder if the list is accurate. I am going to see if i could verify my position on the list my log # was 48 when originally sent out from TRS.
