The bystanders weren't shot to death. They were run over by a truck rented from Home Depot.

The suspect, however, was shot by the police, so that might account for some witnesses saying they heard gun shots.

Yes, de Blasio, Cuomo and the FBI are all in a live new briefing right now. All said it was a terrorist attack.

Suspect was shot by the police and is in custody at a NYC hospital. He is a 29 year old male who is not from NY. He committed the attack by driving a rented truck down the bike path.

Eight dead and multiple other injuries.

No evidence of a wider plot.

Anyone who goes into Manhattan unarmed is a fool. I’d never enter that sardine can cesspool of humanity without my firearm.

The police chief just said that the parade will proceed, but they will have extra security and police on hand.

Suspect came all the way from Florida

No offense to Florida but he could have ran over people there

Why are cities always attracting the loonies for their sick planes.

Thank god it wasn't as fatal as the Las Vegas attack
