Does Manhattan ironically not have a “Main Street”, (New York: suburbs, park)

Like Walt Disney has Main Street USA

Every city has a Main Street except NYC in its core doesn’t, why not?

There’s one in Brooklyn and Roosevelt Island But I don’t see one in Manhattan proper, nor is there a Sesame Street

Remember the history of New York City- as multiple cities, including New Amsterdam.

I thought “Main Street” was more of representation of a city’s most iconic street.

I always considered Park Aveune to be NY’s “Main Street”. Flatbush would be Brooklyn’s and queens Blvd for queens, etc.

But then again I’m like half retarded so what the hell do I know?

42nd Street is Main Street and very much like Disneyland's Main Street. It is also arguably Sesame Street, I saw Big Bird and Cookie Monster huckstering for expensive photos.
