Umm by stealing? That's NyWriterdude's lesson for today? Lol.

In all seriousness.......If you ever wonder why certain areas/groups of people suffer from diabetes/hypertension/cardiovascular diseases/weight issues/etc. .....now you know why! I'm going through some hypertension issues myself currently but I believe its mostly from eating high sodium meals most of my life from eating out so much! Eat safe out there folks!

Who gives a ****?

Born and raised in NYC. Never ate a chopped cheese, nor do I care to. Does that make me any less of a New Yorker? **** outta here with that.

that looks like a not so sloppy joe. a friggen ground beef sandwich, something I could make at home, instead of a burger. been here all my life, and never seen that served in any deli or corner bodega.
what I know as a staple, would be

-kaiser roll with eggs, bacon, cheese
-jamaican beef patty in coco bread, at the bodega, or with cheese and pepperoni at the pizzeria.
-$5 footlong hero at the "middle eastern" bodega, using boars head cold cuts, with tomato and lettuce only
-spanish empanadas under a heat lamp
-some real hood bodegas would make you a dominican salami and cheese sandwich, ( i thought this was the chopped cheese sandwich, made with "cheese line" block cheese)

If your lucky, you could still find the bodega that offers the $5-$7 lunch combo, stewed beef, goat or chicken, with rice and beans .

then there are those Chimi trucks, uptown, offering some kind of custom burger, parked on the strip!

I never even heard of it until Anthony Bourdain to be quite honest.
