So I got really lucky with a super low log number, was called in for an interview, submitted all my documents, and should have passed the credit and background checks. This took place in mid-October. I didn't hear a peep for several weeks and I decided to email and check on the status of my application. I received a prompt response saying that they were working on applications in order of log numbers and that as soon as they got to mine they would notify me. It has since been close to four weeks and I'm wondering what's going on? Is it advisable that I email them AGAIN? I believe they told me they would notify me if I was denied but so far, nada. What should I do?
Wait like everyone else does. I had an interview mid-October as well. I just heard back from them on Saturday requesting more documents. No news is usually good news.
The only thing you can do now is to wait until they tell you otherwise. There's nothing else you can do at this point. Continue with your life and do what you have to do. Continue to apply for other housing that you qualify for. Don't get too caught up with this. I know is very excited when you are near the point of getting the house, but there's nothing you can do to make any influence. So, don't stress yourself out.
