The conversion is Monday 8/20/12. After that closings can take place. I understand that if you want to close asap, get your atty in the mix asap and call your loan processor at the botoom of the approval papers. I heard that a meeting will be scheduled once 50 closings takes place. Now I'm packing. Good Luck to all. And they did call for the final inspection as they promised.

YES. Via Verde is now a Cooperative. The Apartment conversion took place yesterday. The closing took about 6 hours and was ratified this morning. Lets get ready to move. Good Luck to ALL.

I got the call today from my attorney to schedule my closing! Sept 5th, just like the letter said- what are the odds? I'm so excited that this is FINALLY happening!!!

Myself and my husband just got approved for an apartment with Via Verde. I really wanted the 3 bed but we got an offer for the 2 bed duplex. We get washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Obviously two bedrooms upstairs and the downstairs.
So for anyone who is still waiting for the rentals. They are moving pretty fast now.

Finally my CLOSING date set for next Monday and I had my final walk thru Friday everything looks great. We even had the opp to pick fruits/vegs from the in the garden w/Jarod from GrowNYC (apples, swiss chard, arugula, basil, and cherry tomatos) ALL were delicious & cooked w/them this weekend MMM good. Looking forward to meeting the new neighbors and enjoying the various workshops in the community room.
