From the research I have since done, they like a typical black fitted coat. So you blend in and look like the typical ny-er.

Nevertleless, I showed up at the Stuyvesant Town's twin brother in the Bronx, and I showed up dressed in a $15 smartly tailored black plastic jacket acquired in a warren of side streets In San Francisco Chinatown, at a store crammed with economically priced merch ranging from toothbrushes to a 3-foot goldplated Buddha In lotus position. My plastic jacket was accessorized with a title to a Parkchester condo, and a receipt for cash sale of a studio condo in the amount of 4 annual minimum rents at Stuyvesant Town. They just xeroxed the paperwork and my driver's license, and gave me the keys....
Type in Parkchester anywhere (and I do mean anywhere in this forum) and a certain person will arrive on key...
