Like I said, I'd believe that if they didn't do their darnedest to make their logo indistinguishable from Canada Goose's. Canada Goose has been around for a lonnnnng time.

Right, but quite frankly I don't see any resemblance. I've had several Canada Goose coats with patches in different spots. They aren't all the same nor the same color. I had a Canada Goose lightweight rain coat that I bought 6 or 7 years ago. The patch matched the color of the jacket (green) and was not on the side but on the front and no one even noticed it since it blended in with the coat. I could argue that my "Outdoor Survival Canada" coat resembles a Canada Goose coat. The only difference is that the patch is on the right and obviously not round.
Hmm, I never thought i’d ever use city-data for shopping advice. This is a little off topic but similar enough that it doesnt warrant a new thread. My youngest one keeps asking for a SuperDry Coat. It’s a Japanese brand that’s apparently very popular with younger people these days. It’s not a expensive as CG but it still seems a tad overpriced price to me. However, if the quality is decent and it can last my youngest a few years, i’m willing to indulge him this gift for his birthday. What do you guys think?
SuperDry is not Japanese. It's way too low quality. It's a British brand that uses Japanese labeling and graphics.
The quality is indeed decent though. I have one of their hoodies for 5 years and still holds up. Just saw their site and would say it's worth the sale prices.
Modell's is clearing out their parkas for $30. (Not designer label, but terrific values.) I got one last February and it is really terrific with a warm unzippable hood and a removable lining that includes the sleeves, for the less than frigid days.
I thought NYC liberals were concerned about the treatment of animals? I guess all that phony bleeding heart goes out the door when fashion trend takes precedence, huh?
Thank you to all who responded to my SuperDry question. Didn’t know they were British. I will check out the store online and try to find a good sale. Definitely not paying store prices.
