We need to stop spreading this rumor, Everything is included in the pension. OT and truck money is calculated towards it.

Actually....

"Overtime pay in excess of an annual cap is not included in the definition of wages. It should not be reported to the Retirement System and cannot be used in a final average salary calculation.
Effective January 1, 2018, the overtime cap increases each calendar year. The amount of the increase is based on the increase in the Consumer Price Index for the one-year period ending September 30 of the previous year. Prior to January 1, 2018, the overtime cap increased each fiscal year.
To transition from a fiscal year to a calendar year period, the overtime cap for ERS Tier 6 members will be prorated from April 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. The prorated overtime cap will be $12,036."

To the people still at FBF, please keep in mind that FBF is nothing like the real thing.
You will learn how to work and everything else that comes with it on the job.
I came out of the August class and feels like I left FBF a year ago.

Good luck to everyone at FBF, and congrats to everyone getting the call.

I’ll be on baskets soon lol

I don’t remember anything they taught us except check for hoist oil.
All you guys waiting to get on trust me. It’s not like what you read here or what you learn in fbf. Better have your big boy pants on and towel to wash your ass after the hopper juice shoots on you
