What are the some of the roughest blocks you've seen?

As in, noisy, people being rowdy, run down looking, high crime, etc.

I see/hear Walton Ave in High Bridge/Fordham mentioned a lot as being bad

Too many to name.
The Bronx has dozens of them as does Brooklyn.

137 Street between brook and cypress Avenue in the Bronx. Another rough looking area is under the jmz elevated train lime in between Halsey and Broadway Junction. Lexington Avenue and 125th Street is another area that is a bad look. East Tremont southern Boulevard when it passes the cross Bronx expressway. Even though safe, some parts of Astoria has rough looking blocs due to architecture especially around the precinct that follows along the grand central expressway.

Yeah Chauncey St station is located in a very sketchy area. Nothing happened to me there, but you can tell it's rough. I think Evegreen and Central Avenues are both sketchier than Bushwick Avenue, just because the former don't have as much foot traffic

That said, I think anything in Brownsville/East NY blows Bushwick out of the water

There's plenty in every borough

Check out Brighton Avenue in Staten Island in Street Views, pretty run-down looking near Jersey Street

I've been to the super ghetto part of Brownsville but there are so many police there

I second these two.
I still don't understand how Lex and 125th can be so hood. This area can be prime real estate if they clean it up and the commute is not bad either, but it can give most rough areas in outer boroughs a run for its money. Every time I go there, it reminds me of 1990s New York.

Really? I've been over by Central Ave as well as Wilson Ave at night and didn't think it was that bad. A little hood still but not over the top.

I'm just going off of *grittiness*

Park Avenue in the Bronx. (The whole f*uckin' stretch. Talk about the divide of prime Park Avenue and Bronx Park Avenue.)
Every number street below 138th Street.
Certain sectors of Jerome Avenue.
Halsey Street.
Canal Street and certain of the side streets. I actually took a pic of one of these scary looking time-warped streets. Will attach below.
