I think you're considered children! Here are the official Mitchell Lama Rules but curiously they don't define the term children: https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/hpd/down...lama-rules.pdf

You might try contacting EMP just to see! Crossing my fingers for you. If I were in EMP I'd consider adult children, children. Because that's what you are--the child of the parent you're moving in with.

Ok thanks, I'll call them to ask and see!

Edit: Just called, children doesn't mean 18 or younger. So I would qualify!

I just got a letter for this development's 3 BDRM waiting list but I don't have the amount of family members to qualify so I won't send the form back in. Log number in the low 200s. Good luck to all who got selected!

What I don't understand (and with all due respect) is why people who don't qualify send in an application and potentially take a space from someone who does. If you know you don't qualify, why sign up? The information is literally right there in the ad.

For those who got selected, does your log number appear on the connect website. Hoping there is a letter in the mail for me too!

All waiting list numbers were updated at the housing connect. One bedroom shows #29. They last two years was only number 6. Does the process actually begin?
