Waiting for decision from HPD on carrying charge increase. Also, they should have a second vote hopefully by end of year. Seems like all on hold until then? Any thoughts on outcome this time around?

Thank you Nyc246, good information.

Our co-op is in the same boat with a $10 million second mortgage coming due. We paid off the first $68 Million mortgage a year or two ago.
Seems the board has decided to go with the low cost loans and commit to remaining Mitchell-Lama for 2 decades. Not to my liking, but democracy tends to deal me shyt...like Donald J. Trump.

I have heard that governmental decisions on large maintenance increases take several years to process.

EMP's board seems Hell bent on taking the place private even if it means screwing over its residents with a 4.77% mortgage. Working backwards, that's a $31,000,000 loan from Wells Fargo: what did they do with the money?

I'm hoping to get in with the rest of us on the waitlist. And it seems there is support for them to to stay. So I wait and wait... HPD did say 3 to 5 months. They renovated the outside common areas. Not sure with the rest. Seems like there chances of getting the increase is unlikely. Then, they will I suppose have the second vote. The feasibility study is slated for this summer.
