Not to split hairs, but there's no SMOKE in vaporizers - it's just water vapor with the added tobacco and/or flavor (plus whatever else is in them). That's why the non-smoking establishments here added "OR vaping" to their "No Smoking" signs. Too many folks were using that as a loophole, I guess.

Yeah hence why I said no smoking or vaping.... I know what they are but in my mind they're just electronic cigarettes.

Exactly!!! Yet they won't take the step of just banning tobacco, because it generates lots of $$$$$ through the taxes.

You have buses, trucks, cars emitting toxic fumes, you have to side step rats the size of small dogs , idiots walking and texting but lets ban smoking while walking, lets add additional ridiculous crap for the cops to enforce, NYC has become the California of the east coast.

Don't worry, the bill won't pass City Hall. Pass too many laws like this, and tourists won't come to NYC.............

And the city will have hurt itself financially.

Seems to me like New York is trying to become less and less like New York. I've never visited but I feel like when it won't evven be the New York that carved itself out in the 20th century but some lame 21st century overly sanitised and gentrified version. Oy vey!

Yes I agree. Mr. Koo, just probably wanted to get his name out there and have people know who he is. Cause lets be honest who heard of him before this.
