NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – In the latest dig at Mayor Bill de Blasio, Gov. Andrew Cuomo has declared a state of emergency in the city’s public housing, giving control of repairs to an outside monitor.

Does this mean the governor has lost confidence in the mayor he endorsed?

They say in real estate, “location, location, location.” So as CBS2’s Political Reporter Marcia Kramer reported, it’s probably no coincidence that Cuomo was at the Johnson Houses in Harlem to sign the emergency declaration that unsurps the New York City Housing Authority’s power to make certain repairs.

“The best way NYCHA can use money to generate heat for apartments is to put the cash in a bucket and light the bucket on fire,” Cuomo said Monday.

Under the governor’s plan, an independent monitor will be appointed to hire an outside contractor to fix things. He’s also giving $550 million in state funds toward repairs.

Yes, sir it is; by January 2020 the Mouth of Albany will have forgotten all about NYCHA.

This assumes he wins a third term, and does not run for the WH. If that last bit is in play then things can go either way.

He's been in office for how long now and suddenly he views this as important. I smell a rat!

He just has a Beef with De Blasio and has been trolling him for months now. But we can see tru his bull**** and how he has boycotted the MTA just to make De Blasio look bad.

Anything NYC related is probably going to be declared a state of emergency from Cuomo. It’s his attack on Diblasio.

For some reason, whenever I see the word "Cuomo", I am like F this. Never feel this negative toward politician in the past.
