They getting a new ferry at Classon Point. It will be interesting to see what happens to the neighborhood over time.

Ferry service coming to Soundview. Why they aren't connecting that same route to Flushing and/or LGA makes no sense.

Here's a hypothetical:

If there was going to be a rail crossing from College Point into Soundview and beyond, would it make more sense to send a branch of the LIRR or the 7 train up there? And would a crossing between College Point into Soundview make more sense or between Whitestone and Throgs Neck?

That LGA airtrain at Mets Willet Point seems ridiculous and the only way I can think of that being even halfway sensible is if the 7 train was extended or the LIRR Port Washington Branch was further branched or extended.

Who will use the ferry I wonder? there's nothing but public housing there.
