I want to sell some collectibles/books without paying the fee that Metro Flea charges to set up a stand. 5th Avenue between 4th and 5th streets in Park Slope used to have people on the weekend selling whatever they wanted 'unofficially' from tables. I noticed though that Metro Flea has 'taken over' and you now have to pay them to set up a stand there. Does anyone know an area in Brooklyn or Queens where people have tables set up and you can sell without paying a Vendor's fee?
