I've seen Waffle House all over the south. I have eaten there and the food was just so so.

They do. I think it's all in your head.

I can see why, if you're driving for 10 hours and stop at a McDonald's in North Carolina because you're super hungry, of course it's gonna taste amazing.

I like the hash browns, but won't eat the waffles. They give you margarine - how you gonna have a waffle restaurant and not offer BUTTER?!?!?!

They want to have the waffles without the love handles.

Only part of the Northeast which Pennsylvania can claim is Philly and its surroundings. The rest of Pennsylvania might as well be on Mountain Standard Time.

Allentown, Strousdburg, and Bethelem definitely belong too.

Also, I disagree that an area isn't really the Northeast just because it's rednecky, a lot of upstate NY is like that too but it's still undeniably the Northeast.

Nahh, the big cities upstate are even more hood than New York City, plus the prisons are up there with mostly people from NYC, so all of upstate is pretty much infested now, only real "red neck" part of New York State is the Southern Tier, which borders, guess what, Pennsylvania.......

But that geography class is working out tho

I don't think "Northeast" is about how hood an area is, because there are hoods all over the country.

I went to Bing University and a lot of the townies are from NYC (Binghamton happens to be 15 minutes away from PA), so I see your point there. But the Lehigh Valley in PA seems like it has a lot of Nuyoricans, plus it's a relatively short drive from NYC and New Jersey.
