Its not just this school. The entire nyc system is crap compared with most others in the US.
Its what happens with generation after generation on welfare with no value placed on education and good manners.

As an NYC teacher, I unfortunately have to agree...not all areas are soooo grim, but that's my general feeling...such a shame..I try to bring it back in my classroom.

American society doesn't value education. Why are we surprised that this is reflected in the classroom?
