Yeah. I saw it on NY1 and it was...just not right.

And guys

As a MoD, this is the type of garbage that we have to deal with on the forum.

I'm not complaining. Trust me.

Person of color is so broad, you are literally including everyone not white. NYC has one of the largest minority populations in this country. We also have a widening wealth gap that is almost split down racial lines as well. The poor consist of majority people of color and what comes with being poor is a lack of opportunities and subpar education. Poverty breeds crime, look at trailers parks across rural America, you replace the minorities with white people with the same conditions you will get the same results.

He was also robbed by another group:

"While the victim remained on the ground, unconscious, other people came up to him and began to go through his pockets, removing his phone and ID."

Im late to a classic thread so here are my classic responses;

Damn it took a whole 5 pages to DeBlasio?

Just to reinterate; parkchester is NOT part of the Bronx

If this were BK, that guy who got punched would have done something to deserve it

Thank you for your time and please leave your reps at the door.

Don't bring Italians into this.

The vast majority of crime carried out by members of organized crime syndicates is within themselves or with other people who are "connected." Mafiosi don't go walking down the street killing random people or bashing random people's heads in.

I was also in Dublin for a little while at a client office, and some of the people (I assumed in a joking manner) said Belfast was a dump, trash, A GHETTO. The same manner New Yorkers refer the Bronx as. Being an outsider, I didn't really see it, but after I got a backstory, I learned it wasn't a "joke". It reminded me of the Bronx, in the sense of the negative stigma that comes with the territory that seems to never go away; however, Belfast has been improving. Lots of rebranding, remodeling, restructuring, a lot of "re" going on. That's what the Bronx needs, but at the snails pace it is going, we won't see much anytime soon. There's little sprinkles here and there, but not enough to be considered true damage control.

I would love for the Bronx to "clap back," but most of the residents just don't give a **** about where they live, which is truly sad. Those are the people that need to GO. Capital G. Capital O. GO.
The Bronx is already getting pretty expensive being mostly hood. Just imagine if it stops being hood
