I believe the Dominicans should get their own handle and identity. Stop being followers.

Because PRs have been in the US longer, and like the Italians before them, they have been Americanized. It is a natural progression.

Why do Puerto Ricans copy African Americans? I believe they should get their own identity. Stop being followers.

Do Dominicans and Haitians look different? They’re on the same island but apparently there’s a lot of animosity between them, particularly from DR to Haiti. Is it purely cultural or are there significant appearance differences between the two groups?

Hell yes they look different. DRs have black admixture, but also a lot of European admixture which most Haitians don't have that much of. DRs tend to look similar to Puerto Ricans in my opinion, while Haitians look more like African-Americans (but blacker on average).

Side note, I find Dominican women to be one of the most attractive groups on average.

Black people in America, maybe. But in general Americans. Sometimes Black Americans, sometimes white Americans, sometimes rainbow Americans. Stop always getting so caught up in skin color. It is racist. Especially coming from a whiteboy like yourself.

You are whiter than me, and grew up in a neighborhood that is more white than the neighborhood I grew up in.
