I can't stand you either. And it's odd that you say something like that because you constantly comment on racial issues, and socioeconomic issues as well.

Whom Im kidding. Sorry it I said that. I should not let my emotions on what I feel is right get in the way of one's beliefe. With me in politically centrist and I dislike far left and far right rhetoric. You post far left all the time and intend to disagree with with most of the times. I do post race issues, but I don't put blame on race compared to you.

As opposed to recognizing that unfortunately many neighborhoods with more crime and QOL issues also happen to have larger minority/immigrant populations. For example, 1995 likes to defend Brentwood (with all the gang violence and murders) and call others racist/xenophobic for having negative views.
I only said that Brentwood looks like a normal Suffolk County town (which SeventhFloor also said), I never claimed that it didn't have issues with violence.

And the racism is definitely heavier on the LI forum

Far left? I frequently call out left wingers who advocate for communism.

I don't know what you're talking about either. l1995 is clearly a centrist Democrat.

Who has advocated for communism on the NYC forum?

If the people trashing a place and acting disorderly are disproportionately a certain demographic, why can't we talk about it? If we all observe it with our own two eyes, somehow we can't acknowledge this observation? Even in an objective way?

It's a bizarre world to live in.

If mostly ______ ethnic/racial group are doing something destructive, we should address it specifically within their community and find concrete ways to solve this issue. When you don't do this and force people to be hush-hush and even begin to blame other groups for it (other groups who haven't acted in such a manner), that's how you get gross Neo Nazis, extremists, white flight and distrust on both sides. And ultimately it actually harms the members in the demographic group who don't act that way.

Its not because of race, it's the difference between the haves and have nots. You go to many different countries and their beaches are wonderful. The locals take care of it. You go to American beaches at a highly diverse area its full of people who disrespect the place and no manners at all. I don't go Coney because some of the people I see there are doing and acting very repulsively.

That's where you get the word stereotype.
