I hope they get rid of Joe Coffee

What?! Why? The one on the UWS on Columbus in the 60s is great, but too damn tiny. I always get my cortados and pastries to go. They recently opened up another one on Amsterdam by 72nd. It looks a tad bigger.

Just so Pierrepont can't get his gourmet coffee and pastries.

Stop global warming by not drinking coffee, bru.

Funny... I have a Bialetti coffee maker from Italy sitting in the box brand new from Williams & Sonoma that I bought years ago. I was toying with the idea of buying coffee last weekend from Whole Foods, but then I thought about it and it would take me quite a while to go through even a small can of Illy coffee and I want my coffee fresh.

Joe Coffee is very eco-friendly. I never get a lid for my cortados and they use packaging that is eco-friendly too. I did Le Pain Quotidien this morning. Same deal... I'm kind of hoping they put some sort of retail on the street level for this new luxury condo or whatever is going there. Something that's closer to Lincoln Center. I think we need more options there. I mean there's a Le Pain Quotidien a half block or so from there that I go to and there's Épicerie Boulud on occasion, but the rest of the places are mainly restaurants/tourist traps not coffee shops or cafés that I'd want to frequent. What would really be great is if the Indie movie place that shut down on Broadway and 62nd moved in there, but I'm dreaming. lol
