No, I remember. I read about him when he died. Interesting story.

I started working in the city at the age of 20 at the PABT when 42nd Street was 42nd Street and Show World was in full swing. I learned a lot about that world really fast. If you worked in the neighborhood, the regulars knew and didn't bother you. I had a nodding acquaintance with a pimp who used to stand in his orange three-piece suit and Panama hat looking for prospects coming from the buses.

I remember walking up 42nd and looking at the XXX movie titles on the marquees. "Seven Into Snowy" stands out in my mind.
