If anyone surprasses DRs and PRs, it will be Mexicans. There are already 500,000+ of them.

They've been here since the 90s and many of the US born kids have already had kids. I don't think they're going anywhere unless NYC rents get so ridiculously high that nothing even semi affordable is left.

There has been Mexican growth throughout the East Coast. There are many Mexicans in the Midwest too, such as Chicago where they've lived for generations.

Give it time. Ecuador, Colombia, Mexicans or some curve ball will bring more Cubans or an other group we dont imagine. Next big wave of people might be from Bangladesh. Thirty years from now who knows.

This is a bit of a stereotype. In the past 20 years the Mexican population has grown a lot in the Eastern states.

And Mexicans are now the third biggest Latino group in the nation.
