Between the 7 and the S trains and the horrific midtown traffic on 42 St, don't think I've ever taken or would take the M42.

M42 is just a long ride because it's crossing town through big and busy areas like Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central. I don't see what the big hoopla is all about. The Bx19 is just a long ride because it goes through 2 boroughs and a bridge, but I agree the buses along NYBG are stressful but Bronx buses just are not a priority over the others.

Nothing is a priority in the Bronx cause we just a bunch of low income people tossed to the side.

No the Bx19 is slow because of ratchet reasons. Nobody in the Bx pays for the 19

Eh. Big deal.

I'd be more interested in a public shaming for the slowest 5% of the drivers, maybe with docking some pay for those who take prolonged breaks.

I find the consistently slowest bus in Manhattan to be the M23.

You would think it would be the M101 / M102 that would be the slowest since it has a long route.
