I just saw these come on the market. They look pretty nice! They seem way too small though..the sf can't be right.

The closest train is the 6 train @ 149st about 4 blocks away. The 2/5 train is Jackson Avenue about 6 blocks away. "Luxury" condos continue to spread through Mott Haven, Longwood, and Melrose..and prices are seriously affordable/cheap.

Yeah I know...everything is "luxury" these days. The certainly look nice though and I can easily make the numbers work by renting out the second bedroom/roomate for $600 a month. These are really affordable.

It looks really nice, but they shouldn't call them luxury. I hate that SoBro thing too.

The same company has luxury condos in Crown Heights...

Here's a question for native NYers, I was told that the NYC housing market pretty much never declines and even with the housing crisis around the country right now NYC has still appreciated somewhat. Case in point, my brothers girlfriend got locked in at a price on a condo in the more industrial area just east of Williamsburg, and in the past year, the prices have already shot up another 60k on identical units in the same complex. Is this the norm?

Those are TINY. Almost $200,000 for 595ft2, is that really a deal? I guess it is in this town.

I dunno if the sf is right..seems way too small but who knows. ProvGuy..anyone that says prices never decline in NYC is lieing and you should run from them. The city has had many price declines..most recently the early 90s....google it.

I've heard alot of these new developments in the bronx haven't been moving quickly. True or Not? Other than that they look pretty nice.

Off topic but whats the deal with Hunts Point, it it looks like theres a couple of blocks of what appear to be brownstones. Some of them appear to be painted really bright colors. Is it worth getting off the highway to drive around?
