No. It was kind of a loft building with separate locked doors to different businesses off a long hallway. This one looked like a movement studio with a few pieces of equipment and one area that was a changing room. They only had one little fan and a water station, and they handed out wash cloths at one point. It was definitely ill equipped to be any kind of movement studio in that kind of heat -- and probably was the case all summer.

Luckily, I guess, I got almost nothing out of the class so I don't have to make any kind of pro/con list deciding whether to return. It's all cons.

Glad I'm not the only one. I had to go out today and was covered in sweat after walking a couple blocks.

I'm from the south, but summer in nyc is much worse just because you're out in it more, and this summer has been awful.

There have been a few times when I thought I was going to leave a puddle in the subway seat because I was so sweaty.

I wasn't happy. I think they should have had a disclaimer on their website that on hot days the temp in their studio can reach 95. When I got out after the class ended at 7:30, the outside temp was noticeably cooler than it had been in the room, so I'm pretty sure I was on the mark with my estimate of 95. Perhaps it was even 100, who knows.
Consider it a Bikram class.
