No one is driving across two states to the biggest, most surveilled city in the country to drop a body. Exactly the opposite usually happens.

They've identified who the person is. Supposedly the body parts are from the same person.

It spilled out into the hallway even and lasted for several weeks. Had no choice but to burn incense and prop open the front door to let some air in to air out the hallway.

In this case though, they aren't sure if this body is tied to the other body parts found earlier or not, but either way, they definitely need to find this guy. I haven't heard of this happening anywhere in NYC in quite some time.
usually when a corpse lies rotting in high temperatures the gasses build up inside the body and eventually it explodes and splatters all over the walls, floors, furniture, clothes, etc.
The "smell of death" is nearly impossible to eradicate in such circumstances and everything just has to be thrown away,,,floorboards, sheetrock and all.
You never forget that odor for the rest of your life.

Next time when posting stories like this please use the article A in front of Bronx Park unless it actually refers to Bronx Park.

Well, if it's any comfort it seems like the parts are all from the same woman. Not another victim so...
let's just hope it stays that way & there are no more "surprises".

Well if I disappear for a while from city-data.....
Naw but reality is you can't live your life in fear. You gotta go about yourself and your business.

Its a shame so many awful crimes are happening. Police don't care, The Politicians don't care, its said we live in one of the greatest cities in the world and its just something that happens.
