In the debate, Cynthia was talking about marijuana legalization like a knight in shining armor came to town and freed struggling under represented minorities. But when asked , what she’d tell parents who don’t want their kids to pick up the habit - she was confused lol.
That's kind of a ridiculous question anyway, anyone who wants weed can get it with ease already.

As Meek Mill would say "only you believe him".

The Clinton woman swore up and down if re-elected she would serve a full term as senator from NYS, and I presume you know how that ended.

Andrew Cuomo is a politician first and foremost, thus by definition you can't trust a single word that comes out of his mouth. Besides what did you expect the guy to say? Yes, I'm running for WH in 2020 but want to be governor as a safety choice?

As for DT he will first need to get through the GOP primary and win the nomination. Don't count those chickens before they are hatched.

It is still early and while on paper DT does seem a pretty powerful incumbent POTUS; but again just don't be making any plans for those chickens just yet.

Back to the Mouth of Albany (Andrew Cuomo); if he doesn't run for WH in 2020 then his political career after a third term as governor (assuming he wins) is over. He will be out of office by 2022 and unless finds some way to keep himself relevant politically or whatever, most outside of NYS will largely have forgotten about Andrew Cuomo by then.

Hillary usually said she had no plans to run for president. That gave her wiggle room. She could say later that when she ran for senator she had no plans to run for president but things changed that made her reconsider. Cuomo didn't couch his denial, he said unless God takes him he will finish his third term if elected.

Cuomo could run for a fourth term as governor so he wouldn't necessarily be out of office in 2023. Even if he doesn't run for a fourth term, he could begin his 2024 presidential campaign in January 2023 right after leaving the governor's office so he would still be relevant. He can use the next four years to raise his national image for a 2024 run.

Cuomo won't run in 2020 as it's not his best chance of winning and a loss would probably end his presidential ambitions like it did with John Kerry in 2004. Despite what the media portrays everyday, I doubt any Trump voters would vote differently in 2020 because of any fake scandal or investigation.

Am I in la la land thinking she could split the vote enough to give Molinaro a shot? I would imagine alot of upstate folks are going to vote molinaro, as well as Staten island, eastern queens etc, and if she can take enough of the brooklyn queens hipster vote etc, doesnt that potentially add up to a molinaro win? ... a guy can dream cant he

i hope nixon gives coumo another ulcer and anxiety attack like preet did.

If Molinaro is not trump crazy, then he would have a shot. Especially if emphasizes infrastructure and quality of life issues.

You’re damn right about that. He’s renegotiating these horrendous trade deals and finally standing up to China and the multinationals that have been stealing our jobs and aiding in stagnating wages. It’s about time America stands up for itself again and has some respect, instead of illegals flooding our country and walking in here like we have no borders. I actually voted for a Cuomo once, but I have not been pleased with his handling of the transportation here and his so called war against Trump. He’s full of it. The only tax breaks he’s been giving are for big business. Meanwhile New Yorkers pay more taxes because of his “progressive” policies. That said, there isn’t any way in hell I’d vote for Nixon. I hope that somehow the Republicans come out with someone formidable to run against him.

Hey NYC, you elected and re-elected DeBlasio. The bar is pretty darn low, but probably not Cynthia Nixon low! My bet is she does well in socialist NYC, but the level headed upstate voters will bring some sanity to the situation.

Truly, anyone who thinks Nixon would do a better job than Cuomo governing should seek some kind of counseling. Your brain is not working right.

I have a feeling she might do that. She will suck 100% of votes from Cuomo and none from Molinaro.

I don't think she will suck 100% votes from Cuomo. Cuomo will keep his voter base from establishment democrats and those who are center/moderate. Downstate is full of ID POLS. People who believes in Pro-Black, Sjw and Feminist elements will vote for Nixon. Those who live in Upstate NY and to some extent Suffolk Country will vote for Cuomo. I dislike Cuomo for his business practices, he did not improve income inequality in this state. He also mismanaged the MTA and Port Authority. The changes for bolh Transportation agencies are little to late for a world class city, and a nation class state. As for Nixon. I would vote for her, but since she jumped into the Identity Politics toxic waste soup, I will obstain for voting for her. NY is full of SJW's and Feminist. She will do ok. The progressive movement will fail thanks to Identity politics and their disdain of men, straight men, straight white men, white people, Atheists, and Christians and token groups such as Asians. Hillary loss thanks to ID POL. ID Pol is a dangerous game according to Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris. Both men are my philosophers.
