No news yet but i'm basically hunkering down. I don't think I'm getting called anytime soon especially given what people have said about Breaking Ground but I'm prepared to wait as long as possible.

Other issues crop up too. In one case recently, the city withheld the developer's tax abatement, and the developer sued.

You can imagine what delays that caused for everyone anxiously waiting!

Here is the official timeline, published in the Marketing Guidelines. Turn to page 7.

https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/hpd/down...g-handbook.pdf

As you can see, it's all based on date of occupancy.

For anyone involved in this process, I recommend downloading the the PDF and reading it!

For a friend of mine who was called for a building in 2015, it was pretty fast. She received a letter and email in late May, interviewed a week or two later, and she signed a lease Sept. 1. She had community board preference.

But many people wait much much longer.
Hi Macnyc2003,

In the 1xxx and still no news at M+4 from end of lottery and M+2 of log # being revealed, with 106 units available, Marketing Agency Breaking Ground ... loads of terrible reviews.

In your opinion do you think that the eligibility appt have already started and haven't reached us or do you think that we can still have a chance , that there may be some delay?

On the marketing handbook they say lottery closes 4 months prior Occupancy .. Now we're at 4 month post close lottery and still no news ..

Thanks for any insight or opinion ..

You are not in a preference group, so you need to wait until all those folks are processed. If there are a hundred something units available, at least 60 people are ahead of you.
