^ And also because of identity politics. NYC is liberal and identity politics rule.

I do wonder why Preet didn't run. He would have been the best person for the job. And you know Cuomo would have been sweating bullets with him in that position rather than James, who's made it clear she considers herself the governor's puppet.

I think Wofford outperformed her in the debate, and Teachout and Maloney both outperformed her in the primary debate. She's running on name recognition and it's a damn shame it'll probably work out for her.
Preet also had name recognition and a good track record. Preet probably would have been a shoe-in had he actually run for the office.

Preet also isn't a politician and had never run for office.

James has held multiple offices.

Preet does not have to run for AG just because people on City Data like him.

He doesn’t have to run, but a lot of people wanted him to and not just on city data.

Irrelevant that a lot of people wanted him to run. He didn't want to run. It's his life. The news media tried to push something he just wasn't interested in. And he isn't a politician anyway.

I chose Sean Patrick Maloney in the primary. He lost to James so I will vote for her this morning. To vote for any Republican and give credence to this cretin in the White House is an impossibility for me.

Teachout is hilarious. The biggest voting loser in the history of losing elections. I'd love it if she threw herself into yet another election to lose.
