I ploted both the BQE from the park slope area to the office and the Jackie Robinson to the office, both are about 30 miles give or take a mile.. So now I have to give it a test run, and see which way is smoother!

Thanks All!

I don't know about the Jackie Robinson/Interboro route in the morning, but I drove from Park Slope for a while to Queens. I took 4th Ave north, went down Ashland Pl to the left of the mall and the Williamsburg Savings Bank, then left on Myrtle Av, right on Prince St, and a block later you're on the BQE east. My experience is that from that point, by Tillary St, into Queens, the traffic in the morning is not bad at all. The LIE eastbound is also better than it would be westbound.

The BQE going east is slow as all hell at 8am, try to avoid it. JRP is better if you don't mind going thru Brownsville to get there.

Used to work off 19S of the SSP. Sometimes took me 1 1/2 to get there in belt traffic but if it was early enough, ie, before 8ish, it was better. Coming home around 4 ish, 5 ish was damn torture coming back into Bklyn. Once was 2 hrs in a car with no working a/c and pouring rain, so I couldn't open the window for air but for a few seconds and get wet, lol. Those were the days.

I've also taken the LIRR to Jamaica around 7ish/8ish and it's busy but not horrible.

I never had any problems on the BQE East at 8 AM from Prince St and Tillary to McGuinness. Much worse back by Sunset Park and the usual bottleneck at the Battery Tunnel where it curves into the pit.

Holden125.

When you took the train to westbury, did you grab a cab or the bus once you arrived to get to your office?

Best!

The only Problem with Westbury is there are only 1/2 as many trains stopping there are some of the main stations.

Also you would not be close to Uniondale, at least not by bus. By cab you are looking at $7-8$ min one way.

I live in Westbury and work in Uniondale.
