Excellent job by this Police Officer! This could have quickly turned into a deadly situation for him if they had overwhelmed him and took his service weapon and shot him.
these guys look like hard core alcoholics or sniffing alot of glue. PD should not have acted alone. He is liable for the guy who fell on the tracks.

Anyway, my commentary is simple:
That cop is awesome, most would be afraid nowadays. He performed excellently. The Manhattan DA dropped all charges because they do not exist to protect cops or average citizens. There’s an agenda at stake here, nothing will get in the way of that.
If you’re ok with that, just consider what these types would do to YOU if they’ll attack a cop with a stick, gun and presumably backup on the way. I carry a gun 24/7, do you?
