Hi, so I just got my certification in TESOL at the master's level. Now, I just applied for a cert application in ELA (7-12) because I have a ton of English credits from my undergrad. Now, when I sent my transcript it says my workshops and holding a certificate requirements are already verified by an OT. Now, the credits I needed in my Content Core and Pedagocial Core are deficient or unmet. Why? I check all of my credits already.

This is the NYC forum. Try to ask a moderator to move this. Certification issues are handled in Albany.

This isn't the kind of question you should be asking here. First ask the people at the grad school you attended for your masters of TESOL. They definitely have departments that should be able to help.

Correct. Speak with your college couselors or exucation department chair. Then visit a local UFT office for assistance.
