Trump maybe all those things, but constitutional checks and balances apply. Congress and the Courts have blocked him on many things. ACA is still here. Where is his wall? Where is his Muslim immigration ban?
Why would any illegal wants to get a driver's license. First, many are uninsured and unlicensed. Now they have to get insurance and pass a driving exam they don't even know how to fill an application even in their own native language.
Most illegals when they get into an accident prefer paying cash. Years ago, a Haitian dude hit into my front quarter panel and I took pictures of his car and he said he'll pay me cash to walk away. He gave me $500. That was much better than going through damn insurance and police.

The US official stayed out of World War II until the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Had the US earlier entered the war, millions of lives could have been saved.
Though Hitler was removed from power, Franco because he never officially entered the war was allowed to stay in power. So Fascist Franco became an ally of the US and Spain joined Nato.
The Spanish civil war is probably a good blue print for what is likely to happen here if we can't stop becoming more and more polarized and hateful.

NYC has by many measures the most segregated school systems in the country.
So where do you get this nonsense that it's all down South? If anything the racial gap between Blacks and Whites is LESS in the South. I'm not denying poverty issues, but it's a substantial percentage of Southern Blacks live in areas that are not high violent crime poverty areas, unlike places like Chicago and NYC that marginalized Black people in the poorest and the most dangerous areas of the metropolitan.
After Lyndon Johnson passed the civil rights bill, he also created the war on poverty and government funding to build projects was increased and welfare programs were increased. Defacto, this was used by cities like Chicago and NYC to destroy private apartment buildings that had a lot of Black tenants and dumped them into the housing projects. A combination of local and federal policies created disasters in Northern cities that they cannot get out of, and yes it was racial.
You see half this forum raging and ranting about "liberals" or "Blacks" or "Latinos". None of these people will rage against Nazis because they ARE basically Nazis.
And you all know it.
It never ceases to irritate or amuse me when people stick their noses in the air and gloat about how liberal NYC is when Texas and many Southern states has them left in the dust in terms of every metric of racial and socioeconomic integration.
There is a difference in terms of liberal meaning ethnic and socioeconomic equality for black, immigrant, and working class families, and liberal meaning that one can smoke weed, get an abortion, and join a kool aid sipping cult.
