You have to follow the instructions you received. It's cut off here, but it's the line that says, If you believe your household qualifies for the available units listed above, you must contact this office in writing within ten (10) days....

This is what is called an appeal. Give in all the documented asked for, and do that quickly. If you qualify, your application will be put back into play.

What guidelines are they saying you don't meet?

I think she was "rejected" based on her application alone.

But if her current information is different, and she does qualify for the unit, she should appeal.

i wasn't rejected since i meet all bands LOL
i don't make over 90k
seems weird it said i didn't meet the requirements when i am qualified for all the bands

They are supposed to tell you why you were rejected/passed over.

And that's what you need to address in your appeal.

I got the same email on March 19th saying that my income on my application didn't qualify me. My current income is different and falls within the range for a studio. So I sent in my updated w2 and got a response today with a new chart saying that there were suddenly no available units, with a new updated chart that had the studio apartment section completely blank. Now i'm on a waiting list.
