A USPM / 80s type metal band from South America has contacted me for booking and I would like to keep them close to Manhattan.

I'm looking at a mix of all ages and 21+ venues and am intrigued by Under St Mark's as well as The Producer's Club because that puts them on the east side and west side respectively. Another place I am curious about is the Shrine in Harlem, as well as the Nuyorican Poets' cafe.

My friends have booked Producer's and Nuyorican for the gangster rap genre. I am not sure how they would react to hard rock. Has anyone here booked these venues? I am really not a fan of shipping the kids out to Blackthorn's in Queens or anywhere super far like that, and would like to avoid the overbooking of stereotypical rock clubs like Arlene's Grocery.
