MTA has no where near the funding to even begin; but they aren't exactly doing nothing.


Very early mapping shows far more real estate will be taken/acquired than the UES part of the SAS. Bad news for owners and residents potentially affected is MTA isn't saying much of anything. That means owners of property and businesses in particular are stuck in a holding pattern.

Well, this should have never been a piecemeal project from the get-go. It's short-sighted planning to not have done a combined phase I and phase II. You're essentially assembling the various crews, agencies, contractors, and machinery twice with that large overhead being spent twice. A two-split with a merged phase I and II and a merged phase III and IV were reasonable since phase III and IV entailed running an actual new service (T train).
