I am hoping to find a good an inexpensive dentist. I do not have insurance and my tooth just broke! I went to my clinic and they gave me a referral for a root canal and crown. The problem is every place I call I can only get in at the end of may or they are just too expensive. I have heard so many bad things about NYU that I m not even going to try there.
Please any recommendations?
I am in Manhattan but will travel to queens - brooklyn - bronx - any place i can get to with my metro card.
Thank you so much. I'll give both suggestions a call today. Right now I have an appointment with Bellevue Hospital but it is for the end of may and they said the doctors have to tell me how much it will cost. Which leads me to believe I will have to schedule a second appointment to get what I need done. I don't want to wait that long unless the price is worth it.
If anyone has an idea what Bellevue will charge please let me know.
I go to Woodside dental, 58th n roosevelt. Quick service and easy to get an appointment. If you are in pain, just go anywhere.
Are you insured? I won't go to a hospital for dental, unless it's an emergency.
Root canal and crown is usually $700 out of pocket for me.
Thank you. I am not insured but I don't mind paying for a good dentist. I am hoping to find somewhere to go this month, i'm not in too much pain so i can wait if i have to. If not I'll keep my appointment at the hospital. Is that out of pocket without insurance?
