Does anyone know what the subway commute from these areas to Manhattan is like these days, in terms of reliability and crowding at 7:30 am? Is it tolerable or intolerable?

Does anyone have a handle on the street crime level for any of the areas? Or is it not to worry about? I am streetwise, originally from the tri-state area.
All of the areas mentioned are relatively safe.
Kensington is the closest to the city with the F at Church ave will get you to Manhattan in 20 min, I live along the F, and there aren't usually delays in the morning, coming home can be a bit more annoying though but luckily Church Ave and 18th Ave are express stations so, when the F is delayed it'll go express.

In Sunset Park, it sucks ass to live along the R line like 45/53 streets but if you live near the N or D at 36,59 8th Ave or 9th ave it's a bit better, it's about 25-30 min to the city depending on location. 36 street being the closest to the city.

Midwood is probably the furthest like 30-35 min to the city. If you're talking north of Ave H which is Flatbush/Ditmas it's about 25 min with Church Ave being like 20 min.
