Does anyone have a child who attended or is attending any of these schools who can share some thoughts, please?

I didn't have a child attending Brooklyn Latin, but this site looks interesting https://www.brooklynlatin.org/

The web site says Boston Latin was the "first public high school in the budding American colonies." The tradition of Boston Latin has found a new home in Brooklyn at The Brooklyn Latin School. Curriculum includes math, science, English, history, Latin and art history.

Default Thank you!

We're in a tough place deciding between Xavier and Brooklyn Latin.

I'd send my kid to Brooklyn Latin, but you really won't go wrong with either choice, though Xavier will set you back more financially if you're not getting a free ride there.

Default Thanks for your response!

Thanks so much! He got a partial scholarship as part of the Ignatian Scholars program. The commute is longer to Brooklyn Latin and he seems like he feels welcomed or comfortable at Xavier. For some reason he's excited about Xavier and feels BK Latin is like his middle school. I'm more concerned with the experience and academics. Any insight on differences of any sort?
